About Us
In Honor and Memory of Gantz-Mountain’s Visionary:
Dr. Lawrence A. Goshorn
Co-Founder and Founding Chairman/CEO
March 20, 1935 – August 30, 2021
Dr. Lawrence Goshorn, Co-Founder, Founding Chairman/CEO, had over 50 years of experience in pioneering and managing “first-time ever” high technology, real-time distributed computer systems covering industrial applications, robotics and artificial intelligence, distributed communications systems and intelligence automation systems. Through his leadership, over 20,000 systems have been developed and installed around the world. He also has been a visionary pioneer in product, packaging and component development for the computer/communications systems world, and contributed to low shop cost products through new technologies and manufacturing techniques. He pioneered and developed first-time: 800 real-time automation computer applications, fully automated factory with 2,000 distributed real-time control computers, developed first real-time online banking computers (25,000 terminals Bank of America), developed first real-time international banking Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) computers (1000 Banks): Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT), developed first 200 systems in real-time Artificial Intelligence Classifiers Systems & Robotics in industry, developed first real-time multimedia village computer systems for 3rd World Countries. Additionally, he was a pioneering start up executive with experience as a seasoned senior executive in the following: management, global marketing and sales, executive and professional recruiting, acquisitions and company turnarounds, financings (public and private), acquired about a dozen companies, short term bank and long term subordinated debt, international operations, international sales organizations, international field service organizations, new product marketing-advertising, long range planning, international manufacturing outsourcing and emerging third world business activities. Gantz-Mountain was his fourth pioneering high-technology start-up company, which is the culmination of his previous three start-ups. Previously, two companies had NASDAQ IPO’s, one was privately financed.
Dr. Rachel Goshorn, Co-Founder and CEO/President, has over 20 years of experience in pioneering and developing advanced AI intelligence automation systems. She has been involved with unique AI intelligence automation algorithms, particularly detecting and predicting behaviors development for the use in the Global War on Terror (GWOT), both in the Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) and Radio Frequency (RF) battlefields. She has over 19 years of experience in program management, system of systems engineering (across several technologies), life-cycle design (from “skunk-works” type rapid prototyping projects to large DoD Programs), and over 13 years of experience with the Department of Defense. In the DoD, she was a US Navy civilian engineer and manager, developing and managing high technology military programs in communications systems and intelligence automation technologies. As an Assistant Professor of Engineering, she taught military officers these technologies, and was the Navy’s PEO Chaired Professor of C4I (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence) at the Naval Postgraduate School. She has developed and taught “start-up systems company entrepreneur” from a systems engineering approach at NPS, with many interesting and unique “first-time” systems designs, where she managed over fifty “systems companies”. For over seven years, as President, she worked very closely with the founding CEO Dr. Lawrence Goshorn, and in September 2021 she also became Gantz-Mountain’s CEO.
Dr. Deborah Goshorn, Co-Founder, Vice President of Engineering and Chief Technology Officer, has over 18 years of AI Engineering experience as a Computer Engineer, Systems Engineer, and Electrical Engineer, pioneering AI intelligence automation algorithms and their porting onto low level hardware such Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs), Digital Signal Processors (DSPs), and advanced custom hardware accelerators within complex System on Chips. Her experience includes 10 years as a US Navy Civilian Computer Scientist and Engineer, which she was Chief Systems Engineer on five large military smart cloud systems of systems, overseeing technical integration of ISR/cyber/social media sensors, AI intelligence automation software and computer systems, networking communication, and power systems, with end user alerting systems for the purpose of vehicle/person AI behavior tracking automation, cybersecurity and warfare automation, and social media automation. Additionally, in these 10 years, as a Research Assistant Professor at NPS, she researched/managed over a dozen DoD projects in ISR, Cyber, and Social Media intelligence automation for GWOT, including developing 20 courses in these areas. She has completed seven degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Applied Math, Statistics, and Computer Science, fields from the University of California, San Diego.
COL Gregory Wilson, USA Ret., Co-Founder, Vice President of Applications, Consulting and Services, has over 28 years of experience as a U.S. Army Special Forces officer deployed throughout the world in numerous leadership positions from the tactical to strategic level to include Battalion Commander, Joint Special Operations Task Force Commander and Senior Military Advisor in Colombia during Operation Jaque, the rescue of U.S. and Colombian hostages in July of 2008. He recently served as a Chaired Professor for the Special Operations Command (SOCOM) and is a recognized expert in Irregular Warfare and has also developed, and directed, a unique intelligence automation lab at the Naval Postgraduate School. In this role he directed Office of the Secretary Defense (OSD) sponsored research projects examining human domain analysis, with a focus on illuminating dark (covert or illegal) networks and the teaching of Special Forces officers in the use of cutting edge analytical methodologies, and new intelligence automation technologies for the Global War on Terrorism.
LTG Charles T. Cleveland, USA Ret., Executive Military Advisor serves on Gantz-Mountain Intelligence Automation Systems Inc.’s Advisory Board as the Executive Military Advisor. LTG Charles T. Cleveland is a native of Arizona and a 1978 West Point graduate. As a 3 Star he was Commanding General, U.S. Army Special Operations Command from 2012 -2015, he led the overhaul of US Army Special Operations which reduced costs by over $50 million on a $2 billion annual budget while simultaneously improving the effectiveness and training levels of existing units and relationships with conventional commands, Other government agencies, and the Army and SOCOM staffs. He retired from the U.S. Army on 1 August 2015 after 37 years of service to the nation as one of the Department of Defense’s premier commanders, strategist and pioneers of special operations theory, campaign planning and operations and intelligence activities for our nations most sensitive missions in support of the war-on-terrorism.
